Where has the time gone? How are we already back in March?

Over the last year I’ve started working from home. Really got back into fitness/health. Started a BLOG! And rewatched ALL of The Walking Dead.

Every month seems to dealt us a crappier hand.

Are we even in a pandemic anymore? Or is this just how life is? The only difference between now and March of last year is that we have toilet paper. We are wearing masks. Sanitizing like crazy. Social distancing.

I think this last year has taken more of a toll on me than I thought though.

I’m typically anti-social. I literally have two friends. And I’m 100% okay with that. But when you go from seeing and talking to them every day to maybe a couple times a week, it’s rough. Plus video chatting is not the same as face to face.

I can’t even imagine how it’s been for the people who are naturally social.

Mentally, this year has been rough. And while we are still alive to complain about it, I can’t help but think of those who aren’t.

I know so much has gone on over the last year. Here are a few tips to help you along your wellness journey when it feels like you can’t catch a break!

1. Focus on what you can change.

2. Take a break from the news.

3. Celebrate even the smallest accomplishments.

4. Journal!

5. Love more, hate less
