So if you know me, you know I struggle with body image issues. Always have. And since I’ve gained weight in the last couple months I’ve been really self conscious. Like pretty insecure and saying negative things about myself. Literally calling myself a whale, walrus, rolls on rolls and just really unhappy. And it’s not like I don’t workout. I got to the gym about 5 times a week. But, I eat everything, including my emotions. You know?
Yesterday at the car wash a stranger man walked up to Phil. He respectfully asked my if I was his Lady. To which My husband responded, “yeah man.” The stranger man told my husband he just wanted to make sure because he was going to come talk to me.
I know appearance isn’t everything. But when you have self image issues and a stranger recognizes your beauty, it feels good.
Y’all couldn’t tell me nothin’ for the rest of the day.
