Hey there! Me again. I have been adjusting to a new schedule while working from home. My employer opened up the business hours to be more flexible for their employees.
There are three main things I do every day. The order in which I do them sets the tone for my whole day. Lately I have been going to the gym first thing in the morning. When I get home, I shower. Then I start my work day.
Going to the gym in the morning versus after my work day, saves me so much time in the evening to work on my hobbies. Reading, binge watching, and even journaling.
After my workout I come home and shower, but I start the coffee first! This way it’s ready when I get out of the shower because we all know I’m not productive without it. And if you didn’t know, now you do.
Lastly, I start my workday. Which can be chaotic and productive at the same time. Taking care of my employees, answering questions, and attending meetings. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy what I do. I actually feel like I bring something to the table. But, I also am a human being and get tired. So! This is why I switched up my routine. And of course, I remember to take my breaks!!
